The M18 FUEL™ 55 mm Plunge Saw delivers corded-level ripping performance, capable of cutting 45 metres of 18 mm plywood on a single 5.5 Ah battery charge. It features dual-scale depth adjustment for on-rail and off-rail cutting, easily set with the press of a button. The flat-sided upper guard positions the blade just 12 mm from the edge, enabling precise cuts close to walls. Designed for optimal dust extraction, it is compatible with the DEK26 system and includes a dust bag. A scoring stop allows a 1 mm back cut to minimize splintering in laminated materials, while bevel adjustments offer stops at 22.5°, 45°, 48°, and a -1° setting for back cuts. The saw also features a cut line window for precise front-edge visibility and a sprung-loaded, retractable riving knife that stays in place during plunge cuts. Variable speed ranges from 2,500 to 5,600 rpm, and the easy blade change system locks both the switch and blade for safe, tool-free changes.
